The company behind HackGRU
Hackgenix Tech Private Limited is a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, headquartered in Salem, Tamil Nadu. We operate HackGRU — a skill-development and training platform serving students, working professionals and educational institutions across India.
We are not a content library. Everything we run is live and mentor-led, taught by engineers who ship software for a living. Our students don't finish with a certificate and a folder of notes — they finish with deployed projects, a working GitHub profile, and the confidence to walk into a technical interview.
Alongside our live cohorts, we build proprietary technology: our own LMS on web, Android and iOS, and SSAT — an AI-powered skill assessment that maps exactly where a student stands and generates a personalised roadmap to close the gaps.

A country where a student's career is decided by their skill and effort — not by which college they got into, which city they live in, or what their family can afford.
Why we exist
India graduates over a million engineers a year. A large share of them struggle to find a role in their field — not because they aren't capable, but because nobody ever showed them what the job actually looks like.
Meanwhile every hiring manager we spoke to said the same thing: they have open roles and can't find people who can build. The demand exists. The talent exists. The training in between doesn't.
That's the gap HackGRU was built to close.
A gap nobody was fixing
Thousands of graduates leave college every year with a degree but without the skills a hiring manager actually tests for. The syllabus moves in years; the industry moves in months.
